About Ortronics
A subsidiary of Legrand group, Ortronics is one of the leaders in the global data communications industry. Ortronics provides advanced, high performance, and easy-to-use connectivity products and structured cabling systems for various industries including education, finance, retail and healthcare).
The problem
After the acquisition by Legrand Group, Ortronics needed to integrate the businesses in a very short space of time. Furthermore, Ortronics faced two challenges. Firstly, knowledge workers and external agencies were dispersed across the world and found it difficult to collaborate effectively. Secondly, because of a reluctance to communicate and share as well as a culturally diverse workforce, it was difficult for people to connect with each other in a constructive way in order to share knowledge.
